VS 41-36-5 - 3rd in the Eastern Conference 40-35-7 - 6th in the Eastern ConferenceThe Hurricanes won their division this year. Hard to believe all it took to win the southeast was 87 points. Staal was this teams MVP with 41 Goals. Cam Ward was 3rd in the league with 37 wins. A 4-3 win over the Thrashers solidified the Canes Division title. Head Coach Peter Laviolette has come out publicly saying he thinks his team is the better team then the "Brodeur-less Devils". The Devils shocked the hockey world by trading Martin Broduer, and acquiring Ryan Miller. Miller finished with a goals against average of 2.72, but only 27 wins. Martin St. Louis finished with an impressive 62 assists. The Devils, like many in the east, snuck into the playoffs. Miller finished the Devils season with a 3-0 win over the lowly New York Islanders. Offence -
Defence -
Goaltending - Players to look out for - The two goalies. Both have had just OK seasons this year, which one will come out on top? Prediction - in 7. These two teams are so close it is hard to say who will win. The Devils have a slight advantage because I think Ryan Miller will out duel Cam Ward. Who do you guys think will win?

My bet is on Carolina, they've had some pretty one-sided games.
