You can place only one player per week into the Auction by starting a new thread for that player.
Auctions are for 3 days. I will ask the Auction MODS to help me keep track of the time frames of these auctions.
* NOTE: You cannot trade this player once he is placed on the Auction Block.
A reserve bid is placed onto the player for his ranking minus 5. Therefore if bidders do not meet the reserve bid, the player can be returned to the team that put him on the block. The team that put him there may waive the reserve bid and it is their option whether to let the player go to the best bidder.
If the reserve is met, the team that put him there will decide which bid wins on the 5th day. (closes at midnight on 4th day)and post it as a successful trade.
If bidders are using 2 players to make up the minimum bid, at least ONE of the players they are using to bid with must have a rating of the reserve bid.
You cannot remove a player from the Auction Block once he is put there. The only time is at the end of the auction and nobody met the reserve bid.
Note: It is not up to the commish to determine which bid is best. It is up to the GM that put the player up on the auction block and you pick the best player to fill a hole in your lineup. The GM who put the player onto the block has the day after the auction ends to make up their minds as to who won. If they have not chosen by midnight of the next day, the Commissioner will just go by the highest ranked player offered. If there is a tie, the Commissioner will decide by "popularity" of the players offered.(I really dont want to be put into this postion, so don't put me there).
When the time frame of the auction is finished simply post the player you have chosen as the winner, post it in the "Auction Trade" section and notify the winning bidder to change his/her roster.
